Quality guidelines


At Tengiva, we make sure all listed products meet established quality, social, and environmental standards. These guidelines help vendors stay compliant, so buyers can shop with confidence..


Product quality

  • Vendors must disclose the quality level of their products (1st quality grade, 2nd quality grade or unknown based on international testing standards).
  • Products go through visual checks to match descriptions.
  • Lab testing documents may be attached by vendors.

Compliance

  • Our technology provider will perform spot checks, from time to time, to make sure that vendors comply with the delivery time frame and that the product’s quality is as advertised.
  • Vendors must supply L*a*b* coordinates under D65 lighting for every product they list. We assess conformity based on this data.

Returns and product accuracy

  • Returns are only accepted if a product doesn’t match its description.
  • If a return happens, vendors must replace the item or issue a full refund.

Packaging and shipping

  • Products must be packaged securely to prevent damage.
  • Orders must be shipped within two business days.

Ethical and environmental responsibility

  • Vendors must follow labor laws—no child or forced labor.
  • Fair wages and safe working conditions are required.
  • Vendors shall comply with national regulations for health, safety and the environment. To do so, vendors should have all the permits and certificates legally required.
